Track lighting? Ears on Batman? you can have a spotlight follow a character by using the Prepare click on the light and then click object movement then you move it like the other objects.

the ears are an upside down pair of glasses or other object that he can wear on his head I think. YOu can rotate any of the worn objects on their head (even hair hehe) and move it around and turn it upside down if you wish

anti-aliasing can i add to this a bit? lol sorry

Anyhow I started doing video last night or two now rendering scenes. I switched from dx9 to dx 11 and the antialias problem seemed (seemed) to happen in dx11 when I switched so I am busy switching back and forth I dont know if this is due to pc or something else so here is my system info from my dxdiag file err what I think is relevant .

I guess I should add this is only with this most recent build when you also released the assets package to go with the heroes/villains characters last month. So its new (for me anyhow)

(notices as i cut and paste this i am still using service pack 1 for windows 7 .. thought i upgraded it)

Sketchup to Muvizu Jamie wrote:
It's a beautiful looking model Dylly. The collision should be pretty easy though? All you need is 3 flat levels for the base / ground, 1st floor and 2nd floor followed by some collision on the steps. I wouldn't think you'd need to have collision on the walls or roof or anywhere else - though I've not seen the script for what its going to be used for.

Yes i saw this questiong to help with collision and was unsure what you meant. If you need someone to add collision for you I can help but as stated here I found that with muvizu all i ever need to do is put some collision into the floors. I totally ignore doorways and walls. I also of course put the bottom most piece collision wise where I want it to sit on the terrain. Of muvizu so it does not sit above the ground.

So far I haven't noticed that many issues with muvizu I see it doesnt like models that are not bulky they bounce around but aside from that its not a big deal i just import it in bulkier and downsize inside muvizu.

Anyhow I can help if you like but of course I would need the file to add collision to

Rebirth Yes its worth doing another if your continuing with a female version of doctor who. I can think of various female things in my head lol myself I try to stay away from doctor who and star trek because its very well um "done" not much room for a lot of ideas , but the female version is a good one assuming you can turn Dr. Who on his ear and leave the idea in place but totally redesign things it would work as a parody series for sure!

As artpen said zombietown is doing well because of a good story. My muvizu project is reruns of an old radio series i kind of enjoyed because it was so "low tech" so i have my work cut out for me or it can flop hard haha. I dont know about you but i enjoy a good challenge so why not rewrite doctor who we do need a female doctor already

Help me Rock this video...Is there an easier way? aye a great deal of things done are all about making people "think" something is happening. In areas where you want to "imply" something (which happens a lot believe me) make sure your cameras are pointed elsewhere. Our brains are strange for the most part implying actions if done right is just as powerful as actually doing it.

Animations is always time consuming even in muvizu its only less time comsuming i muvizu in many ways. I dont think they actually have hand movements in muvizu so make sure that your camera is zero'd in on something else if that makes any sense. I also find that using the head movement and eye movements helps a lot.

re: movie showings on the muvizu site and youtube It was just the mess of the text is all hehe. If that can be fixed I dont mind. Its simply that most of those links lead to non-muvizu things and I dont like to make it look like I am trying to spam. Anyhow if the text can work a bit better it wont look so aweful

thanks for replying.

re: movie showings on the muvizu site and youtube Hi.

my movies are a mess on this site because the way the text shows up from youtube it just kind of lumps it altogether. I dont think we should be forced to have a muvizu only station and the text on my videos is the same text that goes on the bottom of all my videos.

Is there some way that muvizu can change how our videos are handled on this site? I tried to delete the text from the video and it deleted it from youtube as well. So I had to put it back.

Here is an example.

http://muvizu.com/Video/21262/Man-Jokes-on-Mars-One-Liners-to-Make-You-Groa

Not a lot I can do about this as well i am a machinima nut and dont just use muvizu lol. I also like to link my videos together and make everything neat and uniform. Is there not some way that muvizu can make the site so we can customize what info gets displayed here so I dont have all that youtube stuff on my video here. Basically i am kind of feeling like i have to decide "am i going to display this video only on muvizu or am i going to display this video everywhere but on muvizu"

muvizu logo out just my two useless cents but the characters to me looked distorted a bit which would lead me to believe that a pan & crop tool was used on it? in post process software?

Christmas Assets oh those are cute. Every year I try to make something christmassy. I had an idea for a little movie that I wanted to try last year but it was rather well technically complex and I ran out of time but I might try it this year since I will have more time. I will see if i can get muvizu to do what I need it to do for the little video.

Problem with uploading I have one uploaded as well I will assume its the moderation they use. I understand the need to keep things under control but I am starting to feel a little too moderated lol.
2012/9/16 18:28:27
Transformers or Sketchup oh sorry i replied and i guess your answer wasn't there yet. I was not saying your wrong so apologies. If you make the model yourself you can import it, but with the way the question is worded it seems to me he wants to import copyrighted game assets. However there is nothing to stop him from making a transformer on his own and importing that there might even be a few in the google 3d warehouse however my experience from using models from that warehouse have always been not good because they are usually a mess and I spend more time cleaning them up then if I had made my own hehe.
2012/9/16 18:14:54
Transformers or Sketchup I imagine there would be a way but i dont think importing models from a game with copyright is even legal. So I would assume that the correct answer is NO. Since about the only way I can think of doing it would invovle hacking a game engine with a closed back end (course I could be wrong I am often wrong because I dont play many pc games anymore)

Man Jokes on Mars rofl thanks I snuck in a little "commercial" for the next superman seeing as it wont be ready in september as I had hoped. Just way to much new stuff to make and I dont like to rush things
2012/9/15 16:53:24
Man Jokes on Mars I make this wierd series where I tell a one liner joke in a different setting each video. I also try to use a different engine each time so they are different in feel/look if you play them in a playlist.

Anyhow here is manjokes on mars

I used the upload option on the site but its not showing yet not sure why

Excellent works chaps.

See above. Although I have noticed that Sinister cannot fly.....
and can we have Beefy's "Scratch arm" action for all heroes as this is perfect for fiddling with the wrist gadgets?

I will quote these two posts as well. I was hoping they would fix the camera things that were in the last release before I got to the animating/lighting phase of my next video and they have so I can now use the depth of field button without crashing everything hehe.
