Last Of The Fairy Kind

A short film about the last fairy creature searching for his lost mate. Why are the fairy creatures leaving this world?

An experiment Im trying to capture the mood and storytelling through music, camera angles, and character actions only no voices. I hope it worked.

As always please comment on how i could improve. It is much appreciated.

Thanks for watching

    • Ridiculously good: the set design, the music, the atmosphere, the story, this is truly phenomenal.

    • Really nice work here! It goes to show how much you can do without dialogue. The whole thing is very beautiful and the depth to the forest is really engrossing! Is there a part 2 coming? I'd love to see the fairy world they escape to :)

    • Yes i was actually going to do this and was trying to think if adding several lights and try to time lights to light up to the action or try to animate a light to fly in the general path. both was going to be pretty time consuming. and then i forgot to do it lol. I should have done it. This is one of those times where a group animation would be handy. Thanks for the feedback and Im glad you enjoyed it!

    • Yes, brilliant concept. Looks like a lot of work went in there. A few lights here and there to light the trees as the wisp goes past would have added to the magic.
