I recently got a doohickey to let me use a wireless 360 controller on PC so I couldn't resist having a quick check of this.
Works flawlessly on navigating a scene but doesnt work at all when directing camera movement which is a shame as realistically it's the only time I'd use the feature (I get very confused very quickly when I try to direct camera movement and always end up pressing the wrong keys- guessing it's my age).
Nice to see how the software's evolving though.

I have to say, that camera rotation is so difficult!

Muvizu Play 1.2 Feedback (also Play+) Yeah, I'm currently running it on a laptop, which doesn't help!

Also, has anyone else found 1.2/play+ slightly slower than the previous one?

Nope, it's faster for me. The set I'm currently working on loaded up in just under 7 minutes in 1.1, and that's come down to 4.30 minutes in 1.2

Hi Ziggy
I meant lag. My version (64-bit Play1.2+) seems to be slower when I'm animating than the 64-bit 1.1 version.

Muvizu Play 1.2 Feedback (also Play+) Yeah, I've rendered my Doctor Who thingy, which was less than a minute if I remember rightly. However, it took up 4gb of space on my hard drive, and when attempting to upload through the website, the loading bar went backwards out of the box.

Muvizu Play 1.2 Feedback (also Play+) Yeah, currently rendering a Doctor Who thing in 1080p and I realize it will take up 4gb or more.

WMV Would be a brilliant format to render in (probably better than that targa sequence thingy).

That said, I love the option to render in 1080p.

Thanks for the new features,

file locked That's a strange bug, I think you'll have to wait for the staff to come back tomorrow.

Inspired by Muvizu Desings. Just one tip, don't use comic sans.

That picture looks brilliant, by the way!

powergirls Welcome to Muvizu!

No, you do not have to pay to use this site or Muvizu itself. You can get Muvizu and start animating here: http://www.muvizu.com/Get-Muvizu . The only time you need to pay is if you want to make your video without the watermark (the word "Muvizu" at the bottom of the video). You need to make sure your computer is up to it: http://www.muvizu.com/System-requirements .

If you need any more help, just ask, in Spanish or English, we don't mind.

I hope this helps,
MDW13

Spanish:

Bienvenido a Muvizu!

MDW13

Try re-installing Muvizu and downloading the content packs through the software in: tools-->content packs.

Also my spidey sense is tingling but I think that this next muvizu play release might contain something other then just bug fixes. I could be wrong and am trying not to get my hopes up but the delay in release is making me wonder about what else they are adding into the software. If it was just a bug fix it would have been patched by now

maybe a lovely christmas present for us..... like an umbrella to brandish.... Big Grin

LOL!

I hope so!
