Rendering thread exeption: Fatal error! Out of mem Muvizu is not out of business, but updates aren't as regular because it's only a small team working on it. If you send a support ticket then you'll get a response within the week if not within the day. http://www.muvizu.com/Support
It's been a while since anyone has had this kind of crash so I'd be interested to hear the cause.

A question about Muvizu chat vs using the forum Yeah I was planning to put a bit more focus on the activation when I get to it since that's where most people in the chat appear to be having problems. Thanks for the tips guys, I'll add them tomorrow if I find time!

A question about Muvizu chat vs using the forum Here's the page: http://www.muvizu.com/Wiki/wiki/175
I'll add a few more questions and then it would help if you could suggest some regular ones that I've missed. (Or just add them on that page)

A question about Muvizu chat vs using the forum I think the wiki would be a better place for this, but it would need some advertising so new users know where to look. (I might start asking around to see if that's possible)
Good idea though Rocque!
Unfortunately new users can't post on the forum themselves because of the spam filter in place, and the chat is not brilliantly named since it's not really instant.

The official FAQ page looks like it's more focused on licencing than beginner questions: http://www.muvizu.com/FAQ

I'll set up a page on the wiki and report back with the link.

Mobile Phone Action We used to be able to upload assets to the store, but we can't any more due to server costs or something.

USING HIT FILM WITH MUVIZU Wow that's excellent Ziggy!
The LUTs really do make a massive difference!

PS: You might want to add a video link so people know what you're talking about.

Make Me Laugh ( Comedy Competition) People already post videos to the"my videos" section on the forum to get feedback and whatnot (I think you should still upload to the gallery though so your videos can be showcased your profile).

Hitfilm a powerful video editor with a load of particle effects and other professional grade features.

Make Me Laugh ( Comedy Competition) Wow Ziggy I never noticed the difference between the prop arm and real arm. Seamless! Well done!

Make Me Laugh ( Comedy Competition) Excellent work, everyone!

Rocque: I can see you've learned a massive amount. Especially with that editing and the special effects!

Ziggy: Great work as always.

eugenecheese: I love the heads in the jars and the perfectly framed shots.

Pat: You've come a long way with Muvizu and it really shows! I like the slowly panning camera, and the song's pretty good too.

Ikes: Now that's a classic comedy! A simple plot with a hilarious twist at the end. Brilliant!

Thanks to Clayster being the first to run a small community competition with such great prizes. (You even made small touches like images of trophies with names on them). I'm sure everyone had some fun making these videos and hope to see more stuff like this in the future!

Yeah, just put the links up here until they get uploaded properly into the gallery, that should be agreeable to everyone, no?

Sounds good.

When should we add our contest entries to the site? Should we put them in this topic? Or, since you have the links do you want to add them, Clayster? Not that I am lazy or anything....cough cough.

No I'll be adding the links to the videos, I'm just waiting the other. Judges decisons.

Maybe wait for people to upload through the site so the videos will be the official public ones.

No its ok, I tested the link here on the forum and it seems to work good, but still if everyone will go back and change from privet to public to your videos before 1:00 pm central time, just to make sure every thing goes well.

Yeah but they won't show in the Gallery unless they're re-uploaded via this site. (And then if you posted the current ones here there would be duplicates)

thank heavens! I appreciate the response MDW13... I was getting ready to waste a day of my life trying to solve a problem that can't be solved yet. (hmmmm... If it's the current version, it should still work in a previous version.... )

update: I just tested my AVI in build 2015.08.05.01R, and it isn't transparent there either. Neither is the rotating wheel AVI that rodrsilva posted a while ago. I guess I'll examine it in other software to see if its transparent there. If not then the problem is still my creation technique.

I'll PM you my transparent clip if you need it for testing.

How Do I Stop My Sets From Loosing Gravity? I've noticed this. I'm not sure if there is a fix for the objects floating, but if you turn off "can be stood on" for the objects then the boss should remain where he was. It might be worth reporting it as a bug to support: http://www.muvizu.com/Support

Performance, PC vs Laptop For graphics cards, the minimum would be something like the gtx 750ti. If you want more power, you might want to look into some newer cars like the rx480 and gtx 1060.

Make Me Laugh ( Comedy Competition) A word of warning to those uploading as unlisted: I think YouTube still publishes the video to your subscribers unless you untick the "notify subscribers" option in the advanced tab.

Hi Clayster,

I have a movie ready for the competition, but where to upload it?
Do I upload the movie through my account so it ends up in the gallery for everyone to see, or do I have to upload the movie somewhere else only for you to see it?

Like to hear from you..

Ikes

5. Videos must be submitted no later then midnight July 13th 2016, this should be enough time for everyone, and for submitting the videos, just send me a link to your video and me and my selected crew will judge each submission, no videos will be posted until a winner is declared.

Hopefully you can upload it via the site once the judging process has taken place.

Deep down we all suspect you are right in the points you made. All software is obsolete, it's just a matter of time frame.

Stick with it Urban. We love you.

All software is obsolete
I never thought of it like this.

I'm looking forward to Muvizu 2, designed in Unreal 4 with actual animation compatibility rather than what we have here.
