The idea for a scene is as follows

1. A guy sits on a bench.
2. He walks up to camera while talking.
3. Stands while looking around
4. Cut.

So I set initial state as "sit " and here is my problem, as soon as character stops moving he sits down... sorry for noob question but how to change that?

Hi Jakubmike,

I think before you let him walk to the camera, you can use the stand action to first let him stand up and then walk to the camera.

or, if you like the way it looks when he "stands up" and starts walking, you could just trim out the few frames at the end of the walk when he sits again, and start a new scene from a different camera angle.

Its a bit misleading to think in terms of "initial state", since that state will continue until you manually change it again. I'm actually kind of surprised to hear that the character would start walking from a sitting position. Most character actions that are intended for a standing position won't activate at all if the character's current state is sitting.

Start with character sitting, the have your character stand up and then move. slide the actions close together in the timeline and it will look quite natural.
