Well, fixed is a complicated word....
The sets broken by the previous version can be recovered with the new one, but the head movement bug is still present. Keyframed camera movements from the previous version are gone when you open the set in the new version. Everything else seems fine for me so far though.

The devs are looking at these at the moment.

Worth trying out if nothing else.

Oh, what's the Head movement Bug? hmm

Also, is it better to update direct from 1.5? or uninstall the lot and start downloading from scratch????

I know this is simple, but I got a few sets done, and I don't want to rip my hair out just yet naughty

Sets saved with head movement can't be opened again. So you have to save without it or just use 1.5

Ta, is there any problems with the download? I think there was a problem upgrading direct from 1.5? better uninstalling the lot and reinstalling to 1.6 ? dunno

Dude, don't do it. 1.6 just isn't worth the hassle. 1.5 does everything except keyframing.

Thank Ziggy I caught this! I had the DL @ 98% when I saw this! I had to cut the blue wire before it went off haha! I'll wait too

Sets saved with head movement can't be opened again. So you have to save without it or just use 1.5

Based on my tests, you can save and reopen a project with head moves ONCE (if you didn't drag anything around on the time line)... but if you reopen it and add more head moves or change the timeline's head moves, it won't reopen the second time.

The one exception is if you completely delete the head moves and start over (as opposed to recording over existing head moves or appending new ones) then it will reopen the 2nd time.

If you tend to make short set-based scenes and you save the head moves for last and render before saving, you may not experience any problems with the latest version.

Its also a good idea to save the project just before making any head moves and move the saved copy to a different location so you don't overwrite it after making head moves.

Another workaround would be to delete all head moves before saving

1.5 (32 bit) does not allow proper registration. So, I'm stuck with 1.6

I've always used the 64 bit versions, I didn't know there was a registration problem with the 32 bit version.

Unfortunately, I am also having problems with set files where no head movements are involved.

So, to get to the point, any inkling as to when a fix is coming? Or am I stuck without a working copy of Muvizu?

Duhh

Sorry bigwally, I left it since I didn't really have an answer. I haven't heard anything and they seem to be quiet on public front at the moment. If you send in a support ticket to Jamie, he might have a more definitive answer. Ziggy has the best link to 1.5 if you want to roll back though.

Unfortunately for 64-bit only. Got a version of 1.5 32-bit and things really got wonky. Nothing worked.

So right now, I'm a man without a Muvizu, until it gets fixed. I will appeal this to the developers, but I don't think things will improve anytime soon.

Does anyone have the link(s) for version(s) 1.5 32-bit?

Pretty sure that Support / Jamie can mail you a link to such a version.
