I am not impressed. i was working on muvizu this morning. i have a big deadline. suddenly a pop up asks me if i want to upgrade to a newer version. i clicked yes. the machine downloaded a new file. i ran it. Then when i rendered movies, all i got was sound and no video. i spent several hours trying to get ahold of your company. no luck, no phone, no chat service -- no support yet. i redownloaded the muvizu. now it wont recognize my license. when i log in and try to get help, it says i have to buy a new copy. i try to buy, but it wont let me -- saying i already bought it!!

I am not playing a game here, this is my business that is suffering. you need some real support.

what do i have to do to get things going again?

I am not impressed. i paid for your product. get back to me.

Bob - do you have the previous version you downloaded ? It should be in your downloads folder unless you deleted it. If you have a deadline I would suggest re-installing that version and having a look at new version when you have more time.

I always install multiple versions alongside each other (just change the install path). As long as you don't run different versions at the same time you can just fire up which one you want.

If you have saved sets in the new versions they are unlikely to work now in the old version so you will have to restore them from backup though.

Yeah, the official Muvizu support is only open from 9:00-17:00 Mon-Fri BST.
I have the installer for the patched version of Muvizu 1.4 64-bit (The version before today's) here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-_4UVPr59ACUWFpOXRQZzdtU0k

You just install this version, and click no when it asks if you want to update.
When you install this version, you will have to highlight the whole licence key in the email you received when you bought Play+, go to File-->Upgrade-->Enter code and it should be fine from there. If you get the E2 error, run Muvizu as an administrator.

thanks. i have the old version on another computer. when it asked me to upgrade, i said no. thank goodness. this new version DOES NOT WORK WITH WINDOWS 10. I lost 1/2 day at work here with editors, producers, my director and others. We are on a huge deadline. So here is a message for the development team at Muvizu -- test your damned software before foisting it on the users. I am not impressed, and I am sure any other windows 10 users will have the same problems. It costed us over a thousand in lost wages. your software isnt worth thirty bucks if you run your company this way.

Bob, you're not going to like this but why did you upgrade your software in the middle of production - I'm afraid that's just a no-no.

Muvizu will get back to you but to avoid disappointment in the future I think you may need to lower your support expectations for a $30 piece of software.

what do i have to do to get my serial number back? I have asked several times. i do not have a copy in my emails. i bought a second copy, but since i paid for 2, i want the first serial number so i can run plus on 2 computers, sincve i paid for it.

PLEASE -- WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO GET A COPY OF MY ORIGINAL PAID-FOR SERIAL NUMBER?

you only need one code. you can use it on 2 computers if you want. have you checked your junk mail?

also you are shouting at the wrong people. we are not muvizu. we are just users like yourself.

yes, you can use muvizu on 2 computers with 1 serial number, but you have to re-activate each computer each time, since muvizu only allows 1 licensed instance of any given serial number. so yes, i can use it on 2 computers, but not with 2 users at the same time. yes i checked my junk drawer. no email, and i have emaisl going back 7 years.

is there any particular reason that you can think of why i have not received a reply from muvizu? All i want is my original serial number, so i can run 2 instance of muvizu at the same time on 2 computers, with the 2 licenses i purchased. isn't this a simple request?

They're probably just busy today, they'll reply as soon as possible. Muvizu HQ is just a small office in Glasgow, not some giant corporation with staff online 24/7.
Give it time and, as Berty said, you need to lower your expectations for a recreational piece of software.

Muvizu will let you run the same license on two computers at the same time. The only limit is how many times you have used a particular serial number. If you are getting the message that it has been used too many times then you will have to ask Muvizu to unlock it for you.

I'm not sure where you stand if you have lost your original serial number but I'm sure they will help.

Hi Bob,

I've replied to your support tickets that you sent in, giving you your licence keys. I've also resent the message this morning.

I'm currently investigating windows 10 issues. The best thing to do is to keep using the 1.4 version until you've hit your deadline.
